Mike’s life started in Iran where he was born in 1986 as the fourth and final child of the family of six. His early family life was filled with lots of emotions and hardships. Born right in the middle of the Iraq/Iran war, stories from his parents remind him of the times.

When Mike was 8 years old things were not fair for his family. Due to their religious beliefs, they were in direct danger of being targeted. It was sadly a matter of life or death. As a result, his parents, with their four children, escaped from Iran to Turkey destined for a better life. Mike and his family lived in Turkey for two years with many changes and struggles but they knew they were safe.

In 1996 they immigrated to Canada and ultimately transformed their lives as Canadian citizens. Growing up his parents did not have much, but they did the very best they could to give Mike a strong and independent upbringing filled with morals and values he carries forever with pride. Mike strongly believes that past experiences impact the way we see the world and ultimately drive us to create better lives for future generations.

Growing up in Hamilton, Ontario Mike loved playing sports and making new friends. He was blessed to have some great athletic coaches that mentored and helped shape who he is. He was the first in the family to graduate from university in 2008 from Guelph University with honours in Bio-Medical Toxicology. He loved the idea of becoming a realtor but did not yet pursue the dream of getting his license.

Mike started a career working as a new product development coordinator at a large bakery. He really supported the company and eventually after 14 years of service worked his way up to a director position, running the entire manufacturing facility. By 2013, really passionate about investing into real estate, and feeling like he missed out on his calling, Mike decided he would take the plunge and dive into the real estate world. Now Mike is right where he belongs, and passion makes that evident. He has a simple philosophy in life and business, “treat others the way you would like to be treated”, and that he does.

5. Experience- Mike has experience in project management, flip projects, conversions projects, investing, first time buying pathways, and more. Knowing that this industry has curve balls, Mike has experienced countless situations where he’s had to support and advocate for his clients. He’s grown to love problem solving in any way necessary.
