This year I had the good fortune to be introduced to Mike Fahandej-Sade. Mike represented my partner in the sale of her James St. north condo in Hamilton. My partners overriding concern was that the real estate market was prone to a correction. Mike agreed with this assessment and very decisively managed to list the property, at the right price and sell the property before the market correction. I was very impressed with Mike's understanding of the risks involved. It was in a large part do to Mike's ability to get my partners property sold quickly that I decided to assign the listing of my house on Macnab to Mike's capable hands. However, the market has changed considerably in the weeks following my partner's listing and sale. What became very apparent as interest rates began to rise is that the bull market was over. I faced selling my house in a buyers' market. Once again, I was impressed with Mike's astute observation. When I asked him what price we should list, he replied with exactly the same number I had in mind. As it turned out Mike has a great grasp of the market dynamics at that time. The market proved Mike was correct! I was fortunate to get two very good offers on my property and was very happy with the price that I got and how smooth the transaction was executed. My old house is now owned by a very nice couple who will be an asset to that community. We had to move suddenly & of course moving during the winter is the last thing anyone wants to do. We thought finding a place would be quite difficult during the recession we are in. However, we found Mike Fahandej-Sade during our search, and we are so glad we did. Mike sold our house for us in 2022. He is very professional and knowledgeable about the market overall and specifically our area. He worked with us over a period since we were not quite ready to sell yet. He stayed in touch and when we finally made the commitment he proceeded with the process. He had our home staged and then had it photographed for on-line viewing. Both the stager and photographer were quick, courteous, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. Mike suggested a selling price he felt would give us maximum return and yet sell quickly. We agreed and he listed the house. The house sold within a week of listing for a price we were very happy with! Throughout this process Mike was courteous and sensitive to our needs and anxieties.
